Major technology businesses such as Microsoft and Verizon Wireless have joined forces with CMIT Solutions of Denver to reach out to the local business community to infuse a variety of technologies and training valuled at more than $52,000 to a deserving small business. This outreach effort is the Colorado Technology Makeover.

“We’ve wanted to do this for a long time. So many of our area’s small businesses flail with inefficient technology resources in their offices or want to upgrade and don’t have the financial wherewithal and we know how frustrating that can be,” said Debi Bush, co-owner of CMIT Solutions of Denver with her husband Phil. “The ‘Colorado Technology Makeover’ is a fun and rewarding way to award one lucky small business the opportunity to grab hold of today’s technology and accelerate their business. We’re excited to make this possible with our national partners which include some of the world’s top brands such as Microsoft, Verizon Wireless and MasterCard as well as local partners in the technology arena.”

How does this Colorado Technology Makeover work?

  1. A business with 5 or more computer users qualifies. This can be a single office firm or multi-location.
  2. Nominations can be submitted and received from February 1-February 28. The entry ballot must be received no later than the 28th.
  3. The Grand Prize winner and Runners Up (2nd and 3rd place) will be announced on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours.
  4. Each qualifying business will receive a custom Business and Technology Assessment from CMIT Solutions of Denver to go in tandem with the nomination.
